Web analysis service Google (Universal) Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of the use of the online offer. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is usually transferred to a Google server and stored there. This may also result in a transfer to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.
We would like to point out that this online offer uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()" and therefore IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form in order to exclude the possibility of direct personal references. As a result of the extension, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being shortened. Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transferred to a Google LLC. server in the USA and shortened there. In these exceptional cases, this processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest.
The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.
On our behalf, Google will use this information based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes. This means:
- to compile reports about the activities of our online offer.
- in order to provide us with further services connected with the use of the online offer and the use of the Internet.
- to perform a cross-device analysis of visitor flows by using a User-ID.
When a page is called up for the first time, the user is assigned a unique, permanent and anonymous ID that is set across all devices. This makes it possible to assign interaction data from different devices and from different sessions to a single user. The user ID does not contain any personal data and does not transmit such data to Google.
The collection and storage of data via the User-ID can be objected to at any time with effect for the future. To do so, you must deactivate Google Analytics on all systems that you use, e.g. in another browser or on your mobile device.
We also use Google Analytics reports to capture demographic characteristics and interests.
In the case of data transmission of personal data to Google LLC. based in the USA, Google LLC. has certified itself for the us-European data protection convention "Privacy Shield". This guarantees compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU. The current certificate can be viewed under the following link: https://www.privacyshield.gov/list
You can prevent the storage of cookies by making the appropriate setting in your browser software. However, we point out that in this case not all functions of this online offer can be used to their full extent.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to the use of the online offer (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser plug-in via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
As an alternative to the browser plug-in or within browsers on mobile devices, the following link applies in order to set an opt-out cookie, which will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data within this online offer in the future (this opt-out cookie only works in this browser and only for this domain, delete the cookies in this browser, click the link again):
Insofar as legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data as described above in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To revoke your given consent, we refer you to the revocation options.
Our online offer includes functions of the YouTube service for displaying and playing videos. "YouTube" is owned by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").
Here, the extended data protection mode is used, which according to the provider's information, only starts storing user information when the video(s) is/are played.
If you are logged in to Google, your information is associated directly with your account when you click on a video. If you do not want your profile to be associated with YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as user profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO based on Google's legitimate interests in the display of personalized advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its website. You have a right of objection to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.
While using YouTube, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA. Regardless of any playback of the embedded videos, a connection to the Google network is established each time this website is accessed, which may trigger further data processing operations without our influence.
If personal data is transferred to Google LLC. with headquarters in the USA, Google LLC. has certified itself for the us-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield", which guarantees compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU. A current certificate can be viewed here: https://www.privacyshield.gov/list
Independent of a playback of the embedded videos, a connection to the Google network "DoubleClick" is established each time our online offer is called up, which can trigger further data processing processes without our influence.
If you register for our e-mail newsletter, we will send you regular information about our offers. Personal data is collected for this purpose. Your e-mail address is the only mandatory information for sending the newsletter. The indication of further possible data is voluntary and is used to be able to address you personally. This data is used by us for our own advertising purposes in the form of the e-mail newsletter.
For the dispatch of the newsletter we use the so-called Double-Opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you an e-mail newsletter if you have expressly confirmed to us that you agree to receive the newsletter. We will then send you a confirmation e-mail asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter in future by clicking on the corresponding link.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent for the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter a) DSGVO. When you register for the newsletter, we save your IP address entered by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace possible misuse of your e-mail address at a later date.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link provided for this purpose in the newsletter or by sending an appropriate message to us, e-mail email@example.com. Once you have cancelled your subscription, your e-mail address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list immediately and included in a blocking file to ensure that you can cancel your subscription.
Newsletter tracking: A newsletter tracking (also called web beacons or tracking pixels) is used, which technically cannot be separated from the sending of the newsletter. If you do not want to be tracked, do not register for the newsletter.
When the newsletter is delivered, the external server can then record certain data of the recipient, e.g. the time of the retrieval, the IP address or details of the e-mail program used (client). The name of the image file is individualized for each e-mail recipient by attaching a unique ID. The e-mail sender remembers which ID belongs to which e-mail address and can thus determine which newsletter recipient has just opened the e-mail when the image is retrieved.
With newsletter tracking the user behavior is recorded. This involves the following data: Recipient, Recipient minus bounces, Recipient in queue, Recipient skipped, Unique unsubscribe rate, Unique unsubscribe rate, Bounces (including hard and soft bounces), Unique opening rate, Unique openings, Opening rate, Openings, Unique click rate, Unique clicks, Unique clicks, Clicks, Effective unique click rate, Clicks for segmentation of target groups
We reserve the right to adapt our data protection information at short notice so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services. This may, for example, concern the introduction of new services. The new data protection information will then apply to your next visit.
